Biking in Paris
Nothing beats Paris in Summer - unless you also have your own bicycle to get around town.
Renting a bicycle in Paris means spending your time like a local Parisian. You can hop on and off and lock your bike up all around town. You can explore different neighborhoods, meet up with friends for dinner outside of a cafes all over the city. It allows you to be flexible in getting places + it greatly enhances a summer experience (or any season) in the city of light.

This cafe offers bike tours around the city through their sister company BIKE ABOUT TOURS
This means that you can take a tour and then keep your bike. The cafe is owned by Christian Osburn (an American) + Paul Barron (a New Zealand native) that now live in Paris full time. The spot is a perfect location in the city + has a nice international flare to it. The coffee is delicious + the atmosphere is extremely friendly.
The tours are non-traditional and focus on the undiscovered parts of Paris like La Tour d'Argent, which is the inspiration for Gusteau's in the movie “Ratatouille” and one of the world's most expensive restaurants.
Barron took an interesting path to Paris: He fell in love with a French girl and followed her home. Three months later, she dumped him. He was an international business major + had done a lot of mountain biking in New Zealand. The first time he rode a bike in Paris he felt that the whole city changed and Paris became a small city. He and Osburn formed Bike About Tours in May 2006.
Each tour includes a list of their favorite spots in the city.

Le Peloton Cafe is located between the St. Paul and Hotel de Ville metro stops on line 1 or 4 minutes walking from the Pont Marie metro stop on line 7.
